Archipel Wines

Pierre Seillan started in the wine industry at his family’s estate in Armagnac, France. From there he learned to farm Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and later Cabernet Franc at Chateau de Targe in the Loire Valley. Pierre then spent two decades in Bordeaux working at several chateaux for Raoul and Jean Quancard. It was there that his curiosity grew beyond the grand cru vineyard sites to specific blocks of vineyards that consistently produced the best fruit. This“micro-cru” approach has since come to form the backbone to Pierre’s winemaking philosophy.
